1. Storing personal information
1.1 Responsibility
Leap Learning AS, represented by the CEO, is responsible for the company’s processing of personal information.
1.2 Personal information which is kept
When you use our apps, we keep an anonymised ip address which is linked to your app usage. With anonymised ip address we mean an ip address which is shortened by the last three digits and thus can not be traced back to an individual; if for instance your ip address is 195.195.19.210, we only store 195.195.19.xxx.
1.3 Purpose of information processing
1.3.1 Compliance
We process the information in order to comply with our commitments towards you.
1.3.2 Usage statistics
The purpose with this is for us to see which apps are most (and least) used, so that we can enhance and further develop our app collection. We log which apps are being used, together with your anonymised ip address.
1.5 Information disclosure to third parties
We will not share, sell, transfer or in any other way disclose personal information to others, unless if we are legally obliged to do so.
1.6 Contact information
Inquiries about which information is registered, correction and deletion can be sent to post@leaplearning.no.
2. Android apps
2.1 PERMISSIONS
android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE
Our Leap Store app uses this permission to get the device’s unique id, used to count number of devices where an app license is used.
Furthermore:
Some of our apps use camera to take photos used in the apps.
Some of our apps need access to the photo library to store screenshots of the apps.
Some of our apps use the microphone to record audio, so that the users can listen to their pronunciation.
All the photos taken and audio recorded are only stored locally on the user’s device and are not shared with any third party - not even with Leap Learning.
3. Complaints
3.1 Complaints
Complaints can be directed to post@leaplearning.no.
3.2 Conflicts
Complaints have to be directed to Leap Learning within reasonable time, preferably by email to post@leaplearning.no. The parties should try to solve eventual disputes themselves. If this fail, the buyer can contact The Consumer Council of Norway for mediation. The Consumer Council of Norway can be reached by phone 23 40 05 00 or at www.forbrukerradet.no.
If mediation does not solve the disputes, they should be solved in Norwegian court, in the judicial district of Asker and Bærum District Court.
