Leap Learning is an organization with the mission to create scalable educational opportunities and concepts that can be replicated all over the world, operating hand-in-hand under our foundation Africa StartUp – the implementing and coordinating constituent under which Leap Learning develops and actualizes its content.
Leap Learning’s purpose is to provide universal access to quality education at any location in the world – reaching children everywhere with empowering learning opportunities tailored to meet their needs and abilities through safe, engaging, and effective learning materials and environments.
Leap Learning develops new and groundbreaking educational solutions, designed to bridge the educational and digital divides which create and facilitate inequality around the world. Education is the key to success, and Africa StartUp and Leap Learning are ready to distribute, scale, and achieve this.

Leap Learning offers educational concepts for a wide variety of markets. We work efficiently and accommodatingly for private and public schools, rural villages and urban slum areas, refugee camps, adult learning programmes for immigrants, as well as in homeschooling contexts.
The Leap Learning App Universe comprises a comprehensive and unique collection of more than 500 progressive apps made by pedagogical experts, covering basic literacy, numeracy, logic, and entrepreneurship available in a wide variety of languages – with additional languages continuously being added. Our App Universe can be used on its own and is a plug and play solution that requires no ancillary aid or preparation for its use.
Students have so much fun learning numeracy in our specially designed Numeracy Lab. Students now only have fun, they learn quicker, and their learning is so much stronger. The Learning Lab concept encourages students to learn for themselves, by themselves, which makes their learning outcomes stronger than when they are told and repeat things.

Leap Learning has developed a unique collection of educational apps. Currently we have a portfolio of more than 500 apps, covering basic logic, literacy, numeracy and entrepreneurship.
Learning Labs
Leap Learning has developed a new educational method mixing technology and practical learning to enable children to learn to learn, where and whoever they are in the world.
Hotspots
The Leap Hotspot is a rugged Android tablet preloaded with our entire app collection. The tablet is installed in a metal box which is mounted on a building, available to the local communities for free.
It All Starts In The Gambia
MyFarm is a “creative hub” in The Gambia established for developing new educational and entrepreneurial concepts under the foundation Africa StartUp, the implementing and coordinating foundation under which Leap Learning develops its content. MyFarm is where we test and trial every idea before it is ready to be used all over the world! MyFarm has 5 Learning Labs, Literacy, Numeracy, Entrepreneurship, Science, and Creativity. The Learning Labs at MyFarm are completely free for the local community to use, and we have around 50 drop in students come everyday to learn.
MyFarm is also the basis of operations for our app creation team. We use MyFarm as a training centre for skills and entrepreneurship. To supplement and improve training programs we develop educational applications to reinforce and further learnings for all trainees.
